WINTER
WEDDING ATTIRE

GUIDE FOR CHOOSING THE
PERFECT WINTER WEDDING
ATTIRE
When planning
for your winter wedding, one important consideration is
the winter wedding attire for the entire wedding party.
This is even more important if you decide to have a
outdoor winter wedding ceremony. The good news is there
are many resources for wonderful wedding attire for
wintertime weddings.
The bride's
wedding gown is the most important during the course of
your wedding planning. You would want to focus on the
winter season and pay attention to the color and style of
your gown. Unlike the summer brides which they can wear
strapless or low cut gowns, this is something very tough
during winter. Click

dress for winter.
You will also want
to take the time to consider what your bridesmaids and
attendants will wear. Again, the most popular choices are
dresses that are typically worn in the spring or summer.
When you have a winter wedding, you will want to steer
clear of pastels and lightweight fabric. Instead opt for
darker colors. Red and black both look spectacular for
winter weddings. Heavier fabrics will also look better
and keep your wedding attendants warm and comfortable.
Shawls, gloves and capes can be added to these dresses as
well.
For small children, such as your flower
girls, nothing is cuter than crushed velvet dresses and
dresses that are trimmed in faux fur. Heavy tights and
Mary Jane style shoes are also top choices for winter
weddings. Your little girls will look adorable and they
will love the fancy clothing that you have pick out for
them. They can also wear matching gloves, capes or shawls
for a warm and unified look.
Finding the perfect wedding attire to
accommodate the winter wedding scene may be a challenge.
However, keep in mind that there are no rules for what
you can and cannot do. If you want to have a cape but do
not want to be all white then think about a green velvet
cape a la Scarlett O’Hara. If you want to have a long
flowing taffeta gown with intricate sleeves and still
wanted to dance the night away then consider having a
costume change in between ceremony and reception. There
is no limit to what you can come up
with.
Think outside of the box and you will
surprise yourself at your choices. This is going to be a
day when you look beautiful not because what you are
wearing but because you are in love. What you decide to
wear to your winter wedding should make you feel pretty
and you should have fun picking it out.
